They saved the top of our cake for us. I was excited to try it because the bottom layer was SO yummy. When Alex put it in my mouth when we cut it at our reception, I just wanted more:) I decided not to wait for the 1 year anniversary because the cake was bound to be horrible by then, however we shouldn't have tried to save it at all. I cut the cake, and we took a bite and decided it tasted AWFUL! Not to mention, I don't think it got all the way cooked. I would have taken it back and complained but I couldn't figure out how to do that for at 3 month old cake. Oh well. We decided next time, we would just eat all of it the day of our wedding (except there won't be a next time....)
